The Concept

A major collector was on her third customization. She said she was looking for something in purple, but just a lot more depth to it. One of my craftswomen was always trying to convince me about using Scarabaeus crystals, suggesting how complex the coloring in each one was. We speculated on the color bag, in this case we used which had a lot of subtle blue in the purple. The effect those Scarabaeus crystals was crazy, so many whites and greens come off it. I called up the collector and told her it was like looking into galaxy through one of those huge telescopes.
